Goals
During my time at Swarthmore, I enjoy employing a blend of qualitative and quantitative methods to examine public health issues.
If the circumstances permit, I will be conducting fieldwork over the summer for my Anthropology thesis on health infrastructures and urban health disparities, particularly examining the lived experiences of outpatients waiting for health services at one of the largest and most overcrowded general hospitals in my home city.
I am also interested in topics at the intersection of gender and health, which includes sexual positivity in conservative social settings, as well as constitution and reproduction of gender norms in clinical spaces.
